Programs
The 2010 Annual Conference will be held in Chicago, Illinois, October 20-22.
The EngAGEment Initiative partners GIA with regional associations of grantmakers (Regionals) to introduce grantmakers to the many needs of our aging population. With additional grant support, GIA is now seeking to expand this network of Regionals engaging in education and awareness activities designed to increase grantmaking focused on aging.
Conference Calls on timely topics.
GIA's first Regional Issues Forum was held in January 2005 in Atlanta, GA. This one day conference was used as an introduction to aging philanthropy with a focus on regional issues and concerns. GIA plans to replicate the format in other regions, with at least two Regional Issues Forums a year in addition to our Annual Conference.
