Reframing Aging: Adoption and Integration

Learn how the City and County of San Francisco Department of Aging and Adult Services (SF DAAS) is working on both the macro and micro levels to adopt and implement a Reframing Aging initiative across the department, as well as with community partners and service providers. Learn what planning, actions and collaborations are necessary to embark and sustain this wide-scale initiative in an extremely diverse community. Presenters will also discuss how to measure success across the process. Presenters: Shireen McSpadden has, since 2015, served as executive director of the City and County of San Francisco Department of Aging and Adult Services.  Anni Chung is CEO of Self-Help for the Elderly, overseeing and managing since 1981 this Bay Area community-based organization that provides a comprehensive range of health, educational, social and recreational services to more than 40,000 older adults a year. Joe Molica is senior communications manager at the San Francisco Human Services Agency where he works closely with the Department of Aging and Adult Services and serves as the department’s communications lead.
