A "Conversations with GIA" webinar

This webinar looked at the "new normal" of caregiving, which includes millennials, those ages 75 and older, and higher hour caregivers. Participants explored the foundation of caregiving in the U.S., insights on national and state trends, as well as public policy efforts aimed at supporting family caregivers. These efforts include the CARE Act; the RAISE Act; the bipartisan Assisting Caregivers Today (ACT) Caucus; and other legislative/public policy efforts around supporting family caregivers. AARP Public Policy Institute's newest initiative, the Home Alone Alliance, was also discussed. Presenters: Laura Rath, MSG, Senior Program Officer, Archstone Foundation; and Susan C.
