The Only Meeting Dedicated to Aging and Philanthropy
The GIA Annual Conference is the premier source of information, inspiration, and connection for any funder interested in aging-related issues and investments. Building on more than 40 years of convening experience, this event brings together funders of all types and sizes: large and small; local, regional, national, and international; public and private. Our program is engaging, actionable, and relevant to people in many different roles, including staff, trustees, directors, consultants, and donors.
Watch some of the highlights from our 2023 conference in Austin, Texas, where we turned up the volume on aging and philanthropy.

The call for our 2024 Annual Conference proposals is now open! We’re hosting our conference in Detroit, Michigan, October 15-18 with the theme “Drive the Change.” In response to feedback from last year’s conference and in keeping with our theme this year, we’re requesting 30-minute and 60-minute workshops to take participants “under the hood” of a specific funding scenario.
The deadline to submit proposals is March 25, 2024. We strongly encourage workshop proposals that come from, and/or include, first-time presenters, new and diverse voices, and new funding partnerships. Learn more and submit a proposal.
