Since GIA and Grantmakers In Health announced our partnership to mobilize support for the 2024 reauthorization of the Older Americans Act (OAA), we’ve continued to fundraise for this important initiative and start a landscape analysis to inform our programming over the next 18 months.

As part of this analysis, we’d like to hear from you. Are you, or are you considering being, engaged in grantmaking or advocacy to help reauthorize or fund the OAA? Do you have a policy presence in Washington, DC or your state capitol as this critical piece of federal legislation comes up for reauthorization? If so, join us for this member meetup to help shape our new partnership to support the OAA and advance the health and social needs of older Americans. Our consultant, Jonathan Cohen, who is conducting the landscape analysis, will facilitate the discussion and share early findings from his meetings on Capitol Hill.
