Join the Movement

Join the movement for a more just and inclusive world where all people are fully valued, recognized and engaged at all ages. GIA helps funders maximize their impact by working together and identifying the intersections of aging and other funding priorities. We create opportunities for funders to connect, collaborate, and co-fund.

Become a member
Renew Your Membership

GIA Members can fill out their membership renewal entirely online! See the steps below to renew your membership.

  • Log into the website.
  • If you haven't yet logged into the website, please activate your account.
  • Look for an email from info@GIAging.org (you may need to check your spam folder). Use the link in this email to create a password. 
  • Click on My Dashboard at the top right of the homepage.

  • From your Dashboard, click the Renew Your Membership button.

  • Review, adjust, and complete your renewal form as needed. The online renewal form will calculate your dues and initiate your payment process.
  • When asked, select Check, ACH, or Credit Card as your payment method. As a remote organization, we encourage ACH and electronic payments. Please note there is a 3% processing fee on all credit card payments to cover processing costs.  
  • After you have successfully checked out, you will receive an email confirming your transaction.

GIA Member Benefits
  • Receive a member rate for our Annual Conference and have opportunities to propose, design, and lead conference sessions.

Who Can Be a Member of GIA? 

GIA brings together funders of all types, regions, and sizes that are exploring or investing in aging, including staff and trustees of private, public, family, community, operating, and corporate foundations; government funders and agencies; non-profits; corporate giving programs; donor-advised funds; giving circles; private and public charities; social venture capital groups; individual philanthropists; and financial institutions.  

Dues  

Membership dues are based on the organization's total grants from the previous year in the field of aging and are renewable annually. Our dues cycle runs from January – December.
