We are excited to announce that GIA is leading development of the Aging Advocacy Fund - a first-of-its-kind initiative to raise $1 million in pooled funding to strengthen aging advocacy nationwide.
The fund will power the Aging Advocacy Initiative, a project to bring together national, state, and local aging organizations, grassroots nonprofits, and people of all ages.
Together, we will build the infrastructure, capacity, and leadership needed to advance aging issues in policymaking and budgeting. In this time of unprecedented threats to policies and programs that support people in later life, we all need to be involved.
A group of national and local funders, including Next50, RRF Foundation for Aging, Archstone Foundation, and the Congregational Home Legacy Fund have already joined the campaign.
